My name is Hilary Wirachowsky, I’m an actor/creator and I run Prism Self Tapes. I’ve been an actor in all sorts of ways since I was a toddler ranging from my parent’s living room/my bedroom, to school plays, to being in a theatre company and on film and television sets by the time I “grew up” as a teen. I think actors are amazing and I love them, it’s a bold move to play your whole life, it can also be really hard.
Here’s the official stuff: I’m a graduate of the Theatre Performance Conservatory Program at Humber College (maybe you’re here to look at my “credentials” so ya, I graduated with honours) and completed the Performing Arts Prep Program at Sheridan College with honours. I have experience training with many people in Toronto and across Canada in both on camera work and theatre. I’m an acting nerd and I’ll talk craft all day, I never stop learning.
Here’s the real real: I’m passionate about creating great performances, I think it’s a collaborative art, so I work intuitively and build based off your impulses (Read more about why I started in Why Prism). I’m supportive, I’m professional, and I’m kind. Apparently I’m especially kind because I grew up in Saskatchewan? So I’ve been told. If you wanna learn more about me you can look right here.
So come on! Let’s meet up and get you to nail that tape!
